Fill large glass jars with buttons and use as a decorative items throughout your home. You could colour co-ordinate them to match each room. I also saw somewhere a clear glass lampshade base had been filled with buttons. The lamp looked great and was definately a talking point.Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08003689680200521061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4589791761435431191.post-18816180221331508282008-12-04T21:30:00.000-06:002008-12-04T21:30:00.000-06:00wow.........I could shop for days in your room and...wow.........I could shop for days in your room and get LOST..........such neat stuff!Yarni Gras!https://www.blogger.com/profile/03028237893356674106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4589791761435431191.post-68873292869146346902008-12-04T17:32:00.000-06:002008-12-04T17:32:00.000-06:00You will soon have a wonderful "happy place" where...You will soon have a wonderful "happy place" where you can retreat! Try this: If you haven't used it within 6 mos. or forgot you had it- get rid of it *wink wink*.
Break it down= Use up your stash by taking fabrics you can and WILL use for a certain quilt and ziploc bag them ALL colors & coordinates. That way you're mega orgaznized and have the "quilt project" within reach and ready to go when you do it. (make sense?) Like Baby Quilt # 1, Gift #1, Gift #2, Birthday, yadda yadda yadda!
Everything is looking GREAT so far hun! You go gurl!
Ps- your Snowman ornie is on it's way! Mailed it out today as I promised! If you do art quilts any size of scrap can be use :)
Even on those little softy things, they use such little pieces. What does one do as a rule of thumb? Any suggestions?????Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09296327130296663275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4589791761435431191.post-33264370531981314592008-12-03T13:32:00.000-06:002008-12-03T13:32:00.000-06:00Wow, its is looking good so far! The only problem then would be scraps...keep them or toss them, that is the cutoff...its so hard to know.rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02366992997140067774noreply@blogger.com
