This might not be exciting news for you.. .but my new Heat Pump is going to be installed next weekend. YEAH!!!! They tried to contact me yesterday to put it in today... but I was not reachable!! I am very sad about that!! Oh well one more week.. I have made it this long without AC. Whats one more week of over 100?? Now that I am almost use to it!!! NOT!!! I melt..... So that is the exciting news on the home front from me... Do you have anything fun to share???

Hooray for you! (I've only had AC in one house--when I lived in Detroit!!) I love my wood burning masonry stove!!!
Sounds like an oxi-moron to need a heat pump for an air conditioner doesn't it! :-)
Our place was hit by lightening a few weeks back, and I lost my air also. We needed a new mother board. Who knew heater and air condidioners even had one of them. It's fixed now, but my computer's mother board is fried too. Along with an assortment of other things. Just waiting for the insurance company to come thru with some idea of what they are going to cover! :-) Hope your cooling off now!
Oh I would probably die without air conditioning. I don't remember it being this hot. Thurs. it suppose to be 102 here! I sure hope you have air by now. Bless your heart.
