Do you remember When????

Do you remember last year when APP's held the disappearing 9 patch block swap?? We had over 45 ladies that participated in it... and it took me all afternoon to sort out all of those wonderful blocks.... and Yes we all received some beautiful blocks. When I introduced the disappearing 9 patch..... There were a lot of us that had never heard of that block. Well I found another disappearing block... its called the Disappearing Log Cabin Block.... It looks like a lot of fun and I just might try it really soon :)
Here is the link to find the instructions:

The author provides a fun tutorial on how to make these blocks ;) I have to tell you it sort of looks like the Bento Box to me.. but I am not up on all of the new and modern blocks... But this looks easy, fast, and fun... now those are the key words for us working girls that love to quilt... :)

I really like that quilt. I've been wanting to make something similar for awhile now.

What a beautiful Quilt - I love the colors...will you let me know who my partner is for the potholder swap? I'm worried I might forget to ask you. You said it's due by the end of the month, right? ... and we can use any motif pot holders? Good thing I've been on a pot holder kick lately ;-) I sure hope you're doing well and that Pitty Pat's fine too. Gizzy and I have been indoors a lot, so my boy's been sleeping his life away - Oh, I'm having a Giveaway -why don't you enter? And tell all your friends too...I think I'll post it on Pins and Needles too...happy weekend,
Love,
Doris and Gizzy ;-)

Hi, just popped in from Soggibottom's blog. That dissappearing log cabin block is great. Funny enough,I knitted one very like that not long ago. It's on my blog if you want to take a look. It now adorns the back of my sofa. I am enjoying reading your blog.
