Busy week at work "O"

Hey ladies its been a very busy week here in Ta Town :) I just haven't had time to post everyone that has sent me some blocks this week. Sorry.............. I will do that on my up coming days off... I have received 3 sets of blocks as of today. So this weekend I will shoot some photos and post the awesome new blocks ;) I have great plans for finishing up a couple of swaps also over the weekend.. I keep saying I am not going to join any more swaps... but guess who is a swap head... I need to go to swappers Anonymous.... yes you heard me right I am sure its just like crack is to a crack head... I think I have to be in this constant state of hurry hurry hurry. Just like the Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.. I'm Late ... I'm Late!!! I wonder if that has any thing to do with my almost new fast fast pace job that I am in now. The phones never stop ringing the people never stop coming in. That must be spilling over into the home life. I hope not!! Swaps are too much fun and always exciting. LOL I think its more like gambling... When you sign up you get a partner... then its a real gamble if you get something at all ;) I have been so lucky.. I have only had two partners not complete a swap with me.... Out of all the swaps I have joined in over the last 2 years. I hear the odds are not usually that good. But I know things happen... That is why I try and be a good swap Mommy ;) Speaking of swap Mommies.. I am going to be doing something different in the up coming swap year. It seems like the same people are always my angels. I am going to put up a donation button on my blog. All the money that is donated will be given to the Angels to help defer some of the cost of making up the swaps. It will be used when needed... if I have to have an Angel. We are talking postage, maybe a few bucks for the materials, and packaging.... All of this can become expensive if you are always saying yes to being an Angel. So when you see the button .. please send a few bucks to help out ;) I hope to have that button up by the weekend... so we can start our little slush fund :) I do have a lot of the same people joining in on my swaps.. and most usually all my swaps are completed by everyone. But sometimes we have had a few times like we did with the 4 bad swap lifters. It was suggested that I charge a fee for joining in on my swaps.. but I don't want to do that. Not everyone can give the same amount .. so I am leaving it up to you to send what you can afford through the donation button as you can afford it :) Thanks my sweet friends....I hope you all have a great weekend :)

You amaze me with your passion for doing this. And to think, I tried to beg off at first! R

Awww Aunt Pitty Pat- I really don't mind offering to help angel. I know it costs money for supplies, materials, shipping and whatnot- but I enjoy Angel-ing. I can't always angel, but when I can- I do! Just know that angeling feels "karma"tically (is that a word) good and we do enjoy helping out and making a swap complete. Who better than YOU to help out! We know that you're a super sweet and compassionate Swap Momma and it shouldn't befall on you to make up for every flaker. We don't want you getting burnt out now or lose your desire to coming up with fun swaps! That's what you got helpers for. I applaud you for setting up the donation button- but please remember too, that some people just get JOY out of creating! I do! I for one have the supplies- and it doesn't make a dent in my fabric stash! Well maybe a hairline fraction *lol* Hugs and I can't wait for your next swap! Hugs!!! You're a sweetheart!!!

I "second" AwtemNymf's comment! You are a super swap momma...and a very good friend - and there are a bunch of us who would do ANYthing for you :-) Uhh...as far as making a dent in MY fabric stash...well, let's not even go there, LOL! Can't even claim a hairline fracture...and I just visited the fabric store today:-) I would never expect a donation - like Awtem, I also do it for the joy of it, and to help you, my friend!

There is something called the "urgency addition" - the pressure to get it done by a deadline...I hear that in my corporate work, and I tell ya, swapping is a LOT like that. I think I could easily get addicted to swapping! :)
Thanks for all you do, APP. :D
