I am so sorry ladies to keep you hanging... regarding word about my mom.. She arrived home from the hospital last nite.. and is having to use an oxygen tank. I hope she doesn't have to use that all the time. But if she does and it helps her to breath better .. then its worth the hassle for her. She says she is tired but gaining strength each day. I was glad she could come home and was able to be with the family on Thanksgiving day. Which means it would be hard to get anyone on the phone to check on mom...I knew that they went to spend the day with Grandma Peachy at the care facility. The facility always has a big dinner for the patients and their families. That is where they were last year.. I heard it was very nice... or at least the family talked a lot about it after spending the day with her ;) In fact Gran won a prize.. a love Christmas sweat shirt. I guess they have entertainment and games and prizes. My Gran is very lucky lady.. she has lots of family that goes and visits daily, and sit several hours with her. I am so thankful my family loves her that much.. she is my angel :) It's two Months and counting from the 26Th of Nov.... the big 100 year Birthday is on Jan 26th. It sounds like the family has huge plans in the works for her.. I am just so sad that I can not go out to Ca for her birthday. It's not everyday that someone turns 100 years old... Maybe I will get a surprise plane ticket for Christmas.. one can only hope ;)
I hope everyone had a great day with their family and friends..

Be sure you ask Santa for that plane ticket! Seriously, though, I hope you find a way to be with your family for that special day.
God Bless your mom. I am so glad you all had Thanksgiving together. Best of luck with the plane ticket. ((Hugs)) for mom. Blessings, Janet
So glad to hear your mom made it home for Thanksgiving! There is nothing better than spending the day with family on Thanksgiving!
Glad to hear your Mom is going well and was able to go home! So nice she got to be with family for Thanksgiving :)
That is wonderful about your mom, I hope she continues to improve daily.
Hummmmm maybe if you got some rubie shoes and clicked them? Hope you can go...
Glad your Mom is home. Whew! Do ask Santa for a ticket for the 100th birthday party. My[Grand]Mama's was awfully special!
I'm so glad your mother is doing okay and that you all had a nice Thanksgiving. Be good and say your prayers . . . special things happen at Christmas time. ;)
I have seen quilt blocks on here. I was wondering if you knew of tutorials that did quilt binding. I took a class this summer and am ready to bind, but don't remember how. I just remember what my granny does and it's not the way I want to do it.
