L@@king hard for a Singer Feather Weight

Hello ladies this is what I am looking for a Singer Feather Weight. I am looking for one that needs tender loving care... IE: It needs to be restored.. I don't care about the paint or whether it runs or not.... the body must be in good condition.. what I mean by this ...the metal needs to be straight without dents. Ok your going to laugh when you hear my price range... I want it to be $100.oo that includes shipping to me. I purchased a really nice.. working one about two years ago for $100.oo plus $25.oo shipping. This was an awesome price.. because they were selling on Ebay no less than $350- $850.oo. I know there are good deals out there.. I just have to keep looking *-) I know if I wait long enough something will come along in my price range :) If you go to garage sales or an auction sort of person keep your eyes out for me... This is suppose to be a winter project for me and the big Daddy O to restore. I have been looking since last fall and I always seem to be 10 mins late on a bid or a couple of bucks short. So ladies keep your eyes open for me PLEASE!!!

go to craigslist.org - thats where I find the deal... You have to put in the area, and you will have to pick it up because its like a big yardsale. (it took me about 6 months to find a MINT one for $300. The decals have ONE count it ONE sm scratch!!!)

Just a thought. Deb in IL

Hi I have a shop thats close to me that has a few of them and seeing I'm in Canada and US money being more..... I will try to see if I have time tomorrow I will check out there prices. If you want to call them I can give you the name. If I don't contact you by Mon. just remind me I have a very bad memory and I have to much on my mind like my swaps. And no this is not the place that I brought my sewing machine to get fixed and they did not fixed it I wished I would of brought it here. But I had a warrienty so I had to bring it to Sears.

Drat, 2 years ago we were not in a depression. Now, everything has gone sky high, like 'now' we have the funds??? Weird how that works. Good luck, I know with persistence and patience, you will find it for that cost, believing is everything. Sometimes sewing stores will get old machines in and not want to fix them, might want to put the word out. Blessings, Janet

I have a treadle machine that looks like that. I can't get to it to see because I have things on it's table. If you are doing Ebay, if you watch the count down and put in a bid with about 25 seconds left, you may get it. That's how I got all of the stuff I've bid on that had other bidders. I also put in a high bid since it only takes the highest bid that was last. I don't ever pay what my highest bid is.
