Fudgy Skillet Brownies

From Everyday Food
1 1/4 cups sugar
3 large eggs1 cup all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
1/4 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder (spooned and leveled)
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
1/4 cup heavy cream
8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and eggs. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, and salt.
In a medium ovenproof nonstick skillet, bring butter and cream to a simmer over medium. Add chocolate; reduce to medium-low. Cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate has melted, about 1 minute. Remove from heat, and let cool 5 minutes.
Add chocolate mixture to sugar mixture, whisking until blended (reserve skillet). Fold in flour mixture. Pour batter into skillet.
Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Serve from skillet, warm or at room temperature.

Well for now I will keep looking and learning from other blogs and then One day. ( I always say one day)I copied your brownie recipe because I have a friend that would love to do them. I forgot to also to say thanks for the info on the Singer machines I was given 1 many about 8 years ago from a friend that I had helped her out with a few things at her house and she did not sew so she gave it to me. I thought oooo how cute and put it away. When I started quilting last Sept. I started seeing how there a quilters dream. So I went to look for it and her it sits. I will have to get a dust and cleaned before I really use it. Its working but seeing its been sitting all this time it should get looked at. So I will do it before I go to my first retreat.Till then I sit and look at it.
