My story at the Inspired Room.. who is giving away and apron

My Small House Story

This story goes back as far as I can remember. I use to visit my Great grandmother during the holiday seasons. Her wee house was only 3 rooms big. But it was always big enough for all the love that abound there. The little house was made up of a living room, kitchen and a bedroom. To go to the restroom.... we had to walk across the alley to go to the out house. I could write a whole new story on that little adventure. But back to the current story. ;)My grandmother would wake before most of the house got to stirring around. As we awoke ..the first thing you noticed was the great smells bursting from the kitchen. You would spring from the bed.. and run into the kitchen as fast as you could. There we would see Grandma with her Red ruffled apron standing at the old wood cook stove. She would be at the stove cooking up our breakfast. She would make the best tasting biscuits that melt in your mouth. They were so light and fluffy and flaky. Oh the white sausage grave that you could pour over them.. oh yummy. I remember sitting for hours in that kitchen watching Grandma cooking on the old wood burning stove. The Holidays were always so nice there.. She would stir up a batch of Taffy for us to pull, or a skillet of Chocolate fudge. She would make flour noodles to go with the left over Turkey.. awe I sure do miss those wonderful times and all the memories that were made there.Happy Holidays Everyone.. Peace and Blessings to you all. :)
