Help Please

My sister is a new quilter and she wants to put a ruffle on a baby blanket.. does anyone have a great tutorial that they could share so I could pass it on to her ;)
I have written her a long post ..but I am sort of like her
How do you finished the ends that meet?
Do you turn the raw edges in an inch and over lap a tad??
"THANKS "

I would give anything if I was good enough to answer this question. I want to learn so bad but I have realized that you have to sit down at the sewing machine to practice.

I hear you Valerie! I am not so smart when it comes to some things. When I learned to sew in Home Ec...They sure taught us to sew a different way when I was in school. It seems like I am re-learning a lot. After getting this link on how to add this ruffle.. I am floored. This way on the link makes so much sense and is so much easier to do than the old way we use to do it... so Yes old dogs can learn new tricks. That is what sewing is all about now.. changing with the times. Being able to stream lining our sewing and still having awesome results :)
