Why don't they do something!!!!!

I just went to see my little 55 lb Tonk Tonk Ba Donka Donka and he is terrified in that place. He has had diarrhea for the last three days that I know of and they haven't given him anything for it. I saw him Friday with upset stomach, my brother saw him yesterday when he took his own food to him. Even after I had a fit in the lobby today. Their remarks were he is stressed he will have diarrhea... I'm not stupid I understand that. Hes upset...But he is sick he needs something to stop his upset. I requested on Friday that their on call vet see him... they said the vet will be there tomorrow. Monday!!!!! That's 4 days being sick in his kennel with diarrhea all in his hair all over him and Scared!!! How long does he have to be sick???? Before they take care of him.. I am so upset I am still crying and its been over 3 hours since I saw him. I told those stupid people I understand he is scared I understand he has to be here because he bit someone. But I don't understand why I can't see him to help calm him down and why they will not get him looked at by a vet!!!! Tomorrow I am getting on the phone and calling around to every vet in this town to see if they will board him the last 6 days of his incarceration. I can't have him ill like that... It might not kill him haveing diarrhea but its killing me seeing him like that!!! Wish me luck with my fight tomorrow to get him out of there!!!! And into a regular vet clinic.

How cruel can they be? I hope you get some satisfaction real soon! Poor boy. It would be even more traumatic for him because he won't understand what's going on.

that is so awful...
How can they be ok to leave him.
Diahorrea could be tragic as they dehydrate.

BIG HUG! IF he has his current shots, why can't you home "jail" him?? the vet who gave him his shot or the state vet may be able to help with this... I understand that these dog pounds are more often than not over whelmed and under funded, but then they go an pull this crud on folks and have the audacity to wonder why no one will donate to them ... GERRRRRRRRRR! I am so sorry you and your baby are going through this .

dont you just hate ignorant, twits that go by the book rather than common sense. i think it is wrong that a vet hasnt seen your poor dog, cruel is not the word NEGLECT would be more appropriate.
good luck

Reading this made me sick to my stomach. How can people who are supposed to care for animals treat one like this? Surely, if you have a record of his shots they could let you keep him at home for the remainder of the time frame.

Hugs to you and prayers.
