Surprise from Sweet Daddie-O

I have been in such a funk lately. As everyone knows I was hit by the drunk driver while at work back in June. My life is no longer as it was. So with all that is changing in my life right now, I find its hard not to be sad and depressed.....Knowing this my Sweet Daddy surprised me with a gift............. It is so nice to get something nice when so many bad things are going on in my life!!!

Here is the sweet little book that he purchased just for me!!!!

This charming little book its dated 1962. I think he said its out of print now. I was looking at it and it has this very amazing apron in it. This apron is called "Oval Pocket Apron". Here is what the book said about it :)

"This dainty apron is actually one large pocket making it ideal for knitting".

It almost looks like a clothes pin apron to me. But the pocket is much bigger. It looks like the perfect apron for all of you ladies that like to crochet or knit :)

Here is an idea if your family women... the book gives a pattern for Father and Son Cookout aprons.. now wouldn't that be an awsome gift for the men in your lives???? Wonderful for those tail gate parties... matching apons for everyone :)
